For most pool decks and patios we recommend a polyurea base coat with a polyaspartic topcoat and decorative flake. The polyurea base gives it flexibility and adhesion, and the polyaspartic top gives it hardness and UV stability. Epoxy remains the traditional choice and still does well on shaded patios and covered walkways.
